We are thrilled to announce that the randomized controlled trial on the impact of ultra-processed food texture on energy intake is underway! The research team has published their pre-data analysis scripts and detailed study methods on the Open Science Framework (OSF) platform (http://osf.io/afmkh).
We will be sharing the results in early 2025. In the meantime, the OSF repository provides a wealth of information about the study type, blinding procedures, study design, and randomization methods employed. This transparency allows the scientific community to scrutinize the research protocol and provide feedback, ensuring the highest standards of scientific integrity.
