Emeritus Prof. and RESTRUCTURE Partner Kees de Graaf receives prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

We are delighted and proud to congratulate Emeritus Prof. Kees de Graaf (and RESTRUCUTRE partner) on receiving the 2023 Food Quality and Preference Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium held in Nantes, France between 20-24th August and attended by over 1200 academics and industry researchers.

The FQAP Lifetime achievement award is voted for by the Editorial Board of Food Quality and Preference and is awarded to an established researcher in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the field of sensory and consumer science. Prof. de Graaf received the award for his outstanding contribution to our understanding of sensory science and nutrition, including >300 publications, 25k citations and >50 PhD students. Emeritus Prof. De Graaf gave an award lecture entitled “Getting Sensory into Public Health Nutrition” where he reflected on his many colleagues and contributions to the field of sensory nutrition.
